What should I wear?
ACOFP events are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and comfortable. Business casual attire is recommended for most meetings and activities.
Some attendees may choose more traditional business attire—particularly during Congress—while others prefer a smart, polished casual look. Both are welcome.
Please keep in mind that education rooms can feel chilly due to air conditioning, so we recommend bringing a light layer or jacket.
Saturday Night President’s Reception:
The President’s Reception will be held outdoors and will celebrate what Florida is known for—citrus and sunshine. We encourage festive, Florida‑inspired business casual attire that’s comfortable for being outside.
If an event calls for a different dress code, it will be noted on the event page. When in doubt, business casual is a safe and appropriate choice.

Welcome Reception
Take a break from learning to join us in the Exhibit Hall for a festive Welcome Reception inspired by our 2027 host city — Louisville! Connect with exhibitors, network with fellow attendees, and get a preview of what makes Louisville’s culture, hospitality, and energy so memorable. Enjoy light refreshments as you mix, mingle, and kick off the convention together.
Conclave of Fellows Awards Ceremony
All members are invited to celebrate the induction of the 2026 Class of Fellows and Distinguished Fellows, presented by the Board of Governors, Awards Committee, and the Executive Council of the Conclave of Fellows. Reception to follow from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
LGBTQ+ Reception
All are welcome at the annual LGBTQ+ Reception—an evening of celebration, connection, and community. Purchase a wristband for unlimited drinks, or two drink tickets in advance, or at the door. All proceeds support the AOF Jeffrey S. Grove, DO, LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship.

Family Fun Event: All Convention Attendees Welcome!
Grab the kids, bring your sense of fun, and join us for a lively, all-ages morning made for playtime and connection! From games and hands-on activities to light bites and plenty of smiles, this is your chance to relax, laugh, and spend time together with fellow ACOFP families. Whether you stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time, it’s a joyful way to kick off your day in sunny Orlando.
Osteopathic Political Action Committee (OPAC) Reception
Women’s Leadership Program: Doctor, Mother, Wife, Other
Start your day with an empowering program hosted by the Women’s Leadership Committee. This interactive session spotlights a panel of women leaders in family medicine and dives into timely topics, including perimenopause and menopause, professionalism, and strategies to counter toxic positivity. After the panel, join small-table discussions and take on creative challenge contests with prizes! Open to physicians, residents, and students. Pre-registration recommended.
