About Amanda Helle:

Biography & Education

Mandy Helle, OMS-IV is the Vice President of the National Student Executive Board. She has been involved with ACOFP since her first year of medical school as the founding chapter president at CHSU-COM, after which she became the chair of the education committee in her second year, and the Chapter Outreach Director in her third year. She is excited to continue to lead on the NSEB during her final year of medical school. Her favorite thing about family medicine is the long-term, meaningful relationships physicians are able to build with their patients, along with the wide scope of care family physicians can provide. Outside of medicine, Student Doctor Helle's interests include hiking, going to the movies, and hanging out with her two cats.

As the Vice President of the National Student Executive Board, Student Doctor Helle:

  • Performs all duties of the President if the President is unable to act.
  • Takes the President’s place, vested with the powers and duties of the National President if needed.
  • Participates as the NSEB liaison for assigned student committees and provides monthly reports to the NSEB. 
  • Coordinates the annual national student community service project. 
  • California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine (CHSU-COM)
  • Emerging Leadership Award recipient 2022-2023, Auxiliary of ACOFP
  • Student Doctor of the Year 2023-2024, CHSU-COM
