Point-of-Care Ultrasound Essentials
POCUS Essentials is designed to educate healthcare providers in the essential principles of ultrasound exams commonly performed in Emergency, Family, and Internal Medicine. Point-of-care ultrasound is a powerful tool that can enhance patient care by visualizing anatomy associated with a clinical question, identifying the need for other imaging, and effectively triaging patients.
The POCUS Essentials course is comprised of several comprehensive training modules that guide learners through the hands-on scanning techniques and protocols required to accurately visualize and identify normal from pathological anatomy on ultrasound. These modules will be released periodically and should all be released by August, 2026.

Learning Objectives
This course is designed to educate you on the use of various components of point-of-care ultrasound imaging. Point-of-care ultrasound is a powerful tool that you can utilize in your practice to enhance patient care by:

The Osteopathic Perspective: Comprehensive Obesity Medicine Treatment

This nine-module certificate program offers a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to managing obesity as a chronic, complex disease. You’ll explore a full spectrum of care strategies—including lifestyle modification, pharmacotherapy, metabolic surgery, behavioral health, nutrition, and pediatric care—while gaining tools to deliver individualized, patient-centered treatment.
Whether you’re in primary care, a multidisciplinary setting, or supporting roles in obesity management, this program equips you with practical skills to improve outcomes, and will earn you the obesity micro-credential.

Digital Health For Practicing Clinicians

This certification is a must for physicians who want to provide exceptional care in the digital era of healthcare.
Content was jointly guided by Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine - Digital Health Track
(RVU-DHT) faculty, and researched by students at RVU-DHT as some of the first physicians trained
specifically in digital health. The course is presented in partnership with ACOFP.
Learning Objectives
Upon the successful completion of this eight-part course, learners will:
