Biography & Education

Antonios Tsompanidis, DO, FACOFP maintains a private practice in Hazlet, NJ. He has been a volunteer faculty member for the Christ Hospital residency program and UMDNJ-SOM since 2000. In 2009 he became an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, as well as the DME and the Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency at Christ Hospital. In 2016, he became the System DME for Bayonne Medical Center and Christ Hospital. He is currently the Chief Academic Officer for CarePoint. 

Dr. Tsompanidis is the current President of the New Jersey Chapter of ACOFP, President of the Monmouth County Osteopathic Medical Society, Speaker of the NJAOPS House of Delegates and a board member of the New Jersey Osteopathic Education Foundation as well as the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) Alumni Association. He was President of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians in 2011.

Dr. Tsompanidis is the current chair of the Constitution and Bylaws/Policy and Organizational Review Committee, vice-chair of the Resolutions Review Committee, and was the former chair of the Ethics Committee.
