About Jay Wang:

Biography & Education

Jay Wang (he/him) is an aspiring osteopathic family physician that wishes to bridge gaps in medical and social services for historically underserved populations. He has particular passions for immigrant and QTLGB+ populations. Jay is also interested in learning and developing ways to better address patient accessibility issues, such as mobile clinics, telemedicine, and FQHCs. In his free time, Jay attempts to manage his at-home mini-forest and cooks.

As Parliamentarian of the National Student Executive Board, Student Doctor Wang:

  • Maintains order at all meetings of the Student Association of the ACOFP according to Robert’s Rules of Order. 
  • Participates as the NSEB liaison for the Resolutions Committee and coordinates submitted resolutions with the NSEB and the national ACOFP Resolutions Review Committee. 
  • Participates as the student alternate delegate during the ACOFP Congress of Delegates.
  • University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM)
