Biography & Education

Tina Burk has been with ACOFP since 2001, starting as the Membership Manager and evolving through multiple roles. She has participated in numerous projects and led various committees during her tenure.

In her current position, Tina provides strategic direction and support to several key membership segments, including regional and state societies, residents, students, fellows, and the awards programs. She manages the National Student Executive Board and the Student Association of ACOFP, along with their local chapters. Tina also oversees the activities of the Resident Council and assists in membership recruitment and retention efforts, focusing on academic and affiliate membership.

Tina serves as the staff liaison to several committees and councils including Awards Committee, Executive Council of Conclave of Fellows, Chair of Family Medicine Committee, Constitution & Bylaws/Policy and Organizational Review Committee, Membership Committee, National Student Executive Board, New Physicians Committee, Preceptor Committee, Women’s Leadership Committee, and the Committees of the Student Association of the ACOFP.

On a personal note, Tina enjoys spending her free time watching her two teenage daughters participate in soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
