About Kathleen Juhl:

Biography & Education

Kathleen Juhl is a second-year osteopathic medical student at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Public and Global Health, from Wayne State College, graduating summa cum laude.

Kathleen’s passion for patient care and community health is rooted in her experience as an Emergency Medical Technician in both urban and rural settings, where she provided pre-hospital care and supported clinical teams in fast-paced environments. She has also contributed to cancer research and continues to build her clinical and academic foundation through teaching roles, including serving as a gross anatomy teaching assistant.

She is actively involved in leadership and service, serving as President of her ACOFP school chapter and as a student representative on multiple professional boards. She is also engaged in community outreach, including working as a refugee health navigator and mentoring fellow medical students.

In her free time, Kathleen enjoys yoga, weightlifting, beaded crafts, and traveling.

As the Chapter Outreach Director of the National Student Executive Board, Kathleen serves as the primary point of contact for the formation of new chapters and the revitalization of inactive ones. She works closely with national committees to support student membership engagement and recruitment efforts, helping to grow and strengthen the ACOFP student community. She also assists the National Secretary in maintaining an up-to-date record of all local chapter presidents and their respective officers. Additionally, she acts as the NSEB liaison for assigned student committees and provides monthly updates to the board.
