Biography & Education

Mohit Chhatpar, DO is currently a family medicine resident in the inaugural class at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA. He is honored and excited to be a part of the ACOFP Resident Council and represent Region 6!

Dr. Chhatpar grew up on Long Island in New York and attended New York University in New York City before attending William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is passionate about rural medicine, behavioral health, and working with underserved populations. He has plans to pursue a fellowship in Addiction Medicine after completing his residency.

During his free time outside of his residency, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing basketball, and Bollywood movies and dancing. He loves traveling and eating foods from different cuisines.
