At the heart of the Student Association of ACOFP are its chapters. This year’s impact was remarkable. Student chapters collectively hosted more than 900 events nationwide, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to engagement, education, and community outreach. 

To recognize these achievements, several chapters were honored for their outstanding contributions. 

  • President’s Award 
    Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine – Dublin was recognized for best exemplifying the spirit and mission of the Student Association of ACOFP.

  • Humanitarian Award 
    Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Virginia Campus was recognized for outstanding dedication to humanitarian efforts within their school, local community, and beyond.

  • Most Improved Chapter Award 
    Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine earned this recognition for achieving the greatest increase in GOLD points from the previous year.

  • A.T. Still Award 
    Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine – Southern Utah was honored for excellence in integrating Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and the principles of A.T. Still into family medicine.

  • Golden GOAT Award 
    Congratulations to KCU–Joplin, the winner of this year’s Golden GOAT Challenge. The chapter was recognized for exceptional first-year student recruitment, engagement, and creativity. In addition to receiving the Golden GOAT Trophy, the chapter will be awarded $1,000 in travel support to attend next year’s Annual Convention in Louisville.
