Your Voice Matters

Take Action with ACOFP

Advocacy is one of the most powerful ways ACOFP advances the interests of osteopathic family physicians and the patients we serve. Through timely Calls to Action, ACOFP connects members directly with policymakers on the issues that impact your practice, your profession, and your patients.

Whether it’s protecting physician payment, reducing administrative burden, or improving access to care, your voice makes a difference — and taking action is fast, simple, and effective.

What Is a Call to Action?

A call to action campaign is a targeted grassroots advocacy campaign that allows you to:

  • Contact your elected officials directly
  • Share your perspective as a practicing osteopathic family physician
  • Support ACOFP’s federal advocacy priorities in real time

Each campaign includes pre‑written messages you can personalize, making it easy to engage — even with a busy schedule.

Why Participate?

When ACOFP members take action together, it amplifies our collective voice in Washington. Recent campaigns have helped:

  • Elevate the concerns of family physicians with lawmakers
  • Reinforce ACOFP’s formal comment letters and policy positions
  • Demonstrate strong grassroots support on critical healthcare issues

Policymakers pay attention when they hear directly from physicians in their districts — especially when those messages are timely and coordinated.
