Present a Scientific Research & Clinical Academic Poster

Osteopathic medical students and family medicine residents are invited to participate in the Poster Presentation competition, sponsored by the ACOFP's Osteopathic Clinical Research (OCR) Committee. Presentations happen annually at the ACOFP convention.

Residents may use this poster presentation to fulfill their scholarly activity standard requirement, with approval from their program director.

Award categories & certificates

Original Research for the Osteopathic Medical Student and Family Medicine Resident Category presents three monetary awards:

  • 1st place of $500
  • 2nd place of $250
  • 3rd place of $150

Case Reports Category presents one Osteopathic Medical Student and one Family Medicine Resident Award of $100.

All presenters will receive a certificate of participation.

Submit your abstracts early—only 100 Abstracts will be accepted!

Important Dates

  • Abstract submissions are open and due by October 26, 2025 at 11:00 p.m. CT.
  • If your abstract is approved, you will be notified via email by November 7, 2025.
  • Posters for accepted abstracts are due January 4, 2026.
  • Poster presentation virtual judging will be scheduled via Zoom in January 2026.
  • All Posters will be displayed digitally at ACOFP '26 in Orlando, FL, April 15-April 19, and the top 10 scoring posters will be invited to present to a live audience; however, no travel accommodations will be provided.
